¶ 📺 Connecting Emby to Apps, Devices & Emby Connect
This guide shows how to connect your Movio Emby Appbox to smart TVs, phones, and Emby clients — using manual IP login or Emby Connect.
¶ 🧭 Step 1 – Get Your Emby Server Info
Log in to your dashboard:
👉 https://dash.movio.pro
Then:
- Click your Appbox
- Note down:
- 🔗 Emby Access URL
- 👤 Admin username
- 🔑 Admin password
¶ 🌐 Method 1: Manual Login on Any Device (Recommended)
This method works across all Emby apps — Apple TV, Android TV, Fire Stick, mobile, desktop, etc.
¶ 🔧 Steps:
- Install and open the Emby app
- When prompted to sign in, select “Skip”
- Enter the server address exactly as shown in your dashboard:
Example:123.456.789.101:12345
⚠️ Enter the full address (including port) in one field — unless your app provides separate fields for IP and port.
- When asked for login:
→ Enter your Emby user credentials
→ Either Appbox user or Emby Connect (if linked)
¶ 🔗 Method 2: Connect Using Emby Connect
¶ A. Link Your User Account
- Create an account at 👉 https://emby.media
- Log in to your Emby Appbox
- Go to ⚙️ Settings → Users
- Select your user → Enter your Emby Connect email → Click Save
¶ B. Activate via PIN (Smart TV / Apple TV)
- Open the Emby app on your TV
- You’ll see a PIN code and QR code
- On a separate device, go to 👉 https://emby.media/pin
- Log in with your Emby Media account and submit the PIN
⚠️ Use your Emby Media login — not your Movio dashboard credentials
✅ Once submitted, return to your TV and press Next
¶ 🔄 Optional: Force Library Refresh
If your media doesn’t show:
- Go to
http://YOUR.IP.ADDRESS:443/web - Log in
- Go to Libraries
- Click Scan Library Files on each

| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| PIN screen won't go away | Tap Skip → Enter IP manually |
| Can't connect | Check IP, port, and network status |
| Missing audio/subtitles | Verify codec support on your device |
| Buffering or lag | Use wired (Ethernet) instead of Wi-Fi if possible |
