¶ First Thing's First: Setting Up Your MovioBox
¶ Understanding MovioBox+ and 4K Content
MovioBox+ owners have access to 4K content. If you're a new appbox owner, you need to initiate the first library scan. If you have a non-4K appbox, remove the 4K libraries before initiating your scan.

¶ Removing 4K Libraries (Non-4K Appbox Owners)
- Select “More”.
- Choose a 4K library (e.g., "4K Movies"), then select "Manage Library" and click "Delete". Confirm the deletion. Wait up to 10 minutes before proceeding to the next library.
- After removing both 4K libraries, go to "Settings" > "Troubleshooting" and click "Optimize Database". Then, click on "Clean Bundles", following the order shown in the image.
¶ Initiate the Scan
- To start a full library scan, select “More”.
- Click the three vertical dots (…) and choose “Scan Library Files”.
Important: Allow the scan to finish before you start streaming to avoid unnecessary resource usage.
